I had the pleasure of vacationing at Royal Belize during a private yoga retreat hosted by Belize Retreats. I had no idea what to expect, and was blown away with the hospitality, beauty, and food! Royal Belize is an exclusive and all-inclusive private island that is minutes away from the Belize Barrier Reef. When we were not practicing yoga, we hung out as a group on the beach, snorkeled around the island, and even kayaked. The staff also arranged a private snorkeling trip to the Belize Barrier Reef. I have snorkeled on several vacations, and never have I seen so much of a reef’s ecosystem in one place! Anytime one of us was thirsty, Polo or Oscar was right there filling our drinks. They even brought out fresh fruit and snacks every afternoon, and any time we had a craving. Did I mention the food? As a busy entrepreneur, I spend most of my day making decisions. It was such a relaxing luxury to have the island’s dedicated chef surprise us with 'lick your plate clean' breakfast, lunch, and dinner each day. No menus, no decisions, no stress. And, they asked about special dietary needs ahead of the trip, so all guests were taken care of. Everything tasted so fresh and I could taste the love that was put into it. Thank you Royal Belize for an unforgettable experience I will cherish for years to come. I can't wait to visit Royal Belize again!
