We are thrilled to announce our 2018 charity program. We donate $100 BZD for every night you stay with us. If you are staying at Royal Belize in the coming months, we invite you to take a look at the charities we will be working with and ask you to match our donations during your stay.
Oceana, founded in 2001, is the largest international organization focused solely on ocean conservation, protecting marine ecosystems & endangered species. Oceana has been in Belize since 2009 advocating for sustainable marine policies.
Cancer Society is located at 11 pine street, Dangriga Town, Stann Creek District. The mission of the society is to establish, promote and further the awareness and treatment of all types of cancer in Belize. It also aims to provide support to the affected and their families.
Kids First Child’s Development Center
Kids First Child’s Development Center in Dangriga did not have a comfortable place for the children to eat their lunch and practice their devotion. Royal Belize team decided to purchase and set up a large tent for the school compound. With your help, Royal Belize donated $1,286 BZD to Kids First Child’s Development Center to purchase a tent.
Stann Creek Village's community is working on renovating their basketball court by adding new rims, balls and other court needs so that children and the rest of the community can come together through sports.
The police cadet helps in communities by cleaning the soccer field, town gathering areas, and beaches. With your help, we were able to raise $1,600 for the Police Cadet in the month of May.
Faith Assembly of God Church
Faith Assembly of God is located in Dangriga and is home to many of the locals. We purchased tiles to help them with their renovations of the church. With your help, we were able to raise $1,800 for the Faith Assembly of God Church in the month of June.
Back to School Supplies
We are always filled with joy when giving to the community especially when our future stars are involved. Education is the key to success and we are happy in assisting these kids opening new doors to new opportunities. Children are the future of tomorrow so we as adults, who are just borrowing this land needs to set a space for their future in order for them to have a successful life. With your help, we donated $1,800 BZD to back to school supplies for the local community and our team's children.
At the Maya Center Primary School, they have a minimum of 100 children that attend their school. They are looking for donations to enlarge the library with educational books and to redesign the library house. With your help, we raised $1,100 BZD in the month of August for the Maya Center Primary School’s Library.
Deaf Institution in Spanish Lookout
DISL is a great organization in Cayo that houses 20 plus deaf students, while teaching them sign language as well as a proper education. With your help, we raised $1300 BZD in the month of September for DISL.
Primary School in Spanish Lookout
This is the most modern Mennonite school, with a population in the town of 2,253 peoples. With your help, we raised $1,oo0 BZD in the month of October for primary schools in Spanish Lookout.
Pueblo Viejo Primary School
This primary school is in Punta Gorda, the most southern part of the country. It’s the second village from the board of Guatemala. The community just starting a food program for the children attending Pueblo Veio to feed them during school days. With your help, we raised over $2,100 BZD in the month of November for Pueblo Veio. With your help, we raised $1,4o0 BZD in the month of November for Pueblo Viejo that helped purchase books for 144 children.
Our Christmas giveaways provide gifts for kids in both districts of Dangriga and Punta Gorda. With your help, we raised over $1,300 BZD in Christmas cheer. We donated to Silk Grass toy drive and donated Christmas gifts to our team member’s children.
